According to the ADP National Employment Report, private employers added 250,000 jobs in the US during December 2017.<br />That figure far exceeded expectations from economists, who predicted growth of 190,000 jobs.<br />That marks the largest increase since March, 2017.<br />The strong jobs data, helped propel the Dow Jones to a record high, peaking 25,000 for the first time.<br />The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 154 points on January 4th, reaching 25,076. <br />
