SKY AT NIGHT — Earth will witness its first blue moon total lunar eclipse in over a century at the end of January, 2018. <br /> <br />According to Space.com, east and central Asian countries in central, along with Indonesia, New Zealand and much of Australia, will get a quality view of the celestial event. Hawaii, Alaska and northwest Canada will also be able to witness it. <br /> <br />The last blue moon total lunar eclipse took place on March 31, 1866, reported Space.com, citing reference book Canon of Lunar Eclipses.
