<br /> <p>A snowstorm hit the eastern Chinese provinces of Anhui and Jiangsu over January 4 and 5, with the country issuing a blizzard alert as snow disrupted transport and power supply.</p><p>At least three airports in the region were closed due to the heavy snowfall, and high-speed trains from Shanghai and Beijing were delayed or canceled.
