If you were hoping to watch season 8 of Game of Thrones this year, you will be sorely disappointed.<br /><br /><br /><br />That’s right, we regret to inform you that HBO says the popular show won’t be coming back until 2019!... so find something else to watch this year.<br /><br /><br /><br />Season 7 wrapped on August 27th to rave reviews and fans were clamoring for news on season 8’s premiere.<br /><br /><br /><br />At least you can rest assured knowing that season 8 will consist of six episodes, and rumor has it those episodes will be up to 2 hours long.<br /><br /><br /><br />And if you’re a fan of the book, just keep in mind that pushing back the upcoming season gives author George R.R. Martin time to release the next book.<br /><br /><br /><br />Also, you shouldn’t forget that there are at least 5 – that’s right, 5 – Thrones prequels in development with HBO…<br /><br /><br /><br />So you may be upset in 2018, but there will be plenty Game of Thrones coming your way very soon.<br /><br />
