<p>Police are searching for a missing 22-year-old Newcastle man, Jayden Penno-Tompsett, who they say disappeared on January 3 and has not contacted his family since.</p><p>Queensland Police released CCTV footage of the man on January 5, stating he had last been seen at a roadhouse in Charters Towers on December 31.</p><p>“Police and family still hold concerns for his welfare as he has not made any contact with them, which is out of character.</p><p>“Police are exploring all avenues however accept that it is a possibility that Mr Penno-Tompsett, from Newcastle, is still travelling as part of his original plans and may not be aware that he has been reported missing.” Credit: Queensland Police Service via Storyful</p><br />
