According to a report from the American Cancer Society, deaths are down in the United States by 26-percent over the last 27 years.<br />According to the ACS annual Faces & Figures report, 2.3 million fewer Americans die each year to cancer when compared to the early 1990s.<br />That figure boils down to 1.6 million men and 739,000 women.<br />But cancer deaths are also down in for key areas.<br />Female breast cancer deaths are on the decline, as are colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, and lung cancer. <br />
