The 2018 edition of the Dakar Rally is up and running with the 31km Stage 1 - Lima to Pisco. <br /> <br />The first stage was flagged off from the capital of Peru, Lima. <br /> <br />The first stage of the 2018 Dakar Rally was a short sprint of just 31km which also included a transport section of 242km. <br /> <br />The real essence of Dakar Rally begins from the second stage with long stage kilometres and harsh terrain and weather conditions.
