Ford has confirmed a second death in an older pickup truck caused by a defective Takata airbag inflator.<br />The automotive company has called for the owners of 2,900 pickup trucks in North America to immediately get their vehicles fixed with replacement parts.<br />According to Ford, an occupant died after a crash last July in a 2006 Ford Ranger.<br />The crash occurred in West Virginia, but a similar incident occurred almost 2 years earlier in South Carolina.<br />Ford confirmed both deaths were caused by inflators built on the same day installed in 2006 Ranger pickups. <br />
