Maybe things are heating up a little too much for James Franco because he just pulled a no-show.<br /><br /><br /><br />The 39 year old won Best Actor for his turn in The Disaster Artist at the Critics Choice Awards, but he was not there to accept his trophy.<br /><br /><br /><br />This comes just days after several women accused him of sexual misconduct after he won at the Golden Globes.<br /><br /><br /><br />Franco went on a late night talk show and declared that the women are lying, but he’s happy to take the hit if it helps further the movement.<br /><br /><br /><br />Only problem is, we don’t know if he can’t come out of this unscathed.<br /><br /><br /><br />Franco is one of the favorites to win Best Actor at the Academy Awards, and if he does, this whole story will take an interesting turn. <br /><br /><br /><br />Let’s not forget that The New York Times cancelled an event with the star just days after the allegations came out.<br /><br />
