A report from Trend Micro indicates that members of the US Senate were targeted by Russian hackers.<br />According to the security company, a group known as Fancy Bear began targeting the email systems of some Senators.<br />The group is believed to be behind the hacks in the Democratic National Committee in 2016.<br />Trend Micro added that they used a sophisticated combination of social engineering techniques, malware, and exploits to steal data, including phishing scams through emails. <br />
