<p>Merseyside Police said a murder investigation was launched following an incident at a Southport TUI store on January 13, local reports said</a>.</p><p>Officers were contacted at 1.25pm following reports that a 28-year-old woman had been injured at the TUI travel agents on Chapel Street, according to the police statement issued to local media.</p><p>The woman was taken to hospital where she subsequently died from her injuries, police said, and a 30 year-old man from the Southport area was arrested on suspicion of murder.
