Eighties rocker Rick Springfield has revealed he attempted suicide at age 16.<br />The 'Jessie's Girl' singer appeared on GMA on Monday, Jan. 16th.<br />Springfield said, "I'm an example of the moment passing."<br />The former 'General Hospital' heartthrob said he wanted to speak out about battling depression in order to help others. <br />
