A time-lapse build of Airfixs 1/72 scale North American P-51D Mustang, one of the most iconic American fighters of the Second World War. Its long range and excellent firepower made it a superb escort fighter, able to protect bombers all the way to Berlin and back. The Tuskegee Airmen who bravely flew the red-tailed Mustangs (not only fighting a war against fascism, but also racism) got a great reputation for staying with the bombers they were assigned to protect. It wasnt long before the white bomber pilots were requesting the Tuskegee-trained “Red Tail Angels” to escort them.\r
\r
A very nice kit which I would recommend to beginners and above!\r
\r
---\r
\r
VIDEOS:\r
- Brush Painting: \r
- Wet Palette: \r
- Applying Decals: \r
- Chalk Washes: \r
- Spray Painting: \r
- Gun smoke/Exhausts: \r
\r
---\r
\r
SUPPORT: \r
\r
---\r
\r
SOCIAL MEDIA:\r
\r
Facebook: @QKscalemodels \r
\r
Instagram: @quick_kits \r
\r
Twitter: @quick_kits \r
\r
Email: quick_kits@yahoo.com\r
\r
---\r
MUSIC:\r
Oxygen Garden by Chris Zabriskie is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license (\r
Source: \r
Artist:
