This is the touching moment a man surprised his US veteran grandfather by returning home and pretending to be a waiter in a cafe.<br /><br />The footage, captured in Racine, Wisconsin, on January 10, shows the blind, 90-year-old grandfather ordering food from the grandson who he thinks is a waiter.<br /><br />''You don't recognise me?'' asks the waiter.<br /><br />The grandfather then explains he is blind.<br /><br />The grandson replies: ''You may talk to me a couple of times every day.''<br /><br />Realising the waiter is his grandson and that they are reunited after many months apart, the grandfather bursts into tears of joy. <br /><br />The grandson writes:<br /><br />''My Grandpa is a WWII Veteran and will be turning 90 years old next month. <br /><br />''My whole life I've been extremely close with my Grandpa as he is the only male role model that I've had.<br /><br />''Last year I relocated from Wisconsin to Florida and had to say goodbye to this incredible man. <br /><br />''Last week his older sister passed away. In order to cheer him up, I flew home to surprise him at his favorite diner, disguised as a waiter. <br /><br />''He is legally blind, which made this a little more challenging than expected! <br /><br />''This is the first time that I have ever witnessed him show emotion.''
