Twin Pandas Have Epic Snow Day as Zoo Atlanta Closes Due to Weather

<p>Giant panda twins Ya Lun and Xi Lun took full advantage of wintry weather that closed Zoo Atlanta on January 19, rolling around in the fresh, fluffy white snow together.</p><p>Zoo Atlanta closed its doors for several days as a system of winter weather</a> and cold temperatures</a> moved through the Atlanta, Georgia, region. According to a post to the zoo’s Facebook page, while the wintry conditions meant more indoor time for most of the zoo’s animals, giant pandas are actually suited for colder weather.</p><p>The pair are the only giant panda twins in the United States, according to a zoo representative, and celebrated their first birthday in September 2017.
