He says that after his bath he tries to wipe himself till he is dry. He further says that he has hands, fingers, toes, two wet legs and a shiny nose to dry. He then asks the reader to imagine if he were a dog and how much less time he would take to dry just by some shaking.\r<br>\r<br>After my bath\r<br>I try, try, try\r<br>to wipe myself\r<br>till Im dry, dry, dry.\r<br>\r<br>In the first stanza, the child says that after his bath he keeps trying to wipe himself till he is dry. \r<br>\r<br>Hands to wipe\r<br>and fingers and toes\r<br>and two wet legs\r<br>and a shiny nose.\r<br>\r<br>In the second stanza, he tells what parts of the body he has to dry. He says that he \r<br>wipes his hands, fingers and toes. He also dries his two wet legs and his nose. \r<br>\r<br>Just think how much\r<br>less time Id take\r<br>if I were a dog\r<br>and could shake, shake, shake.\r<br>\r<br>In the third stanza, the little child asks the reader to do some imagination.
