British speedgolfer Steve Jeffs is the new world record holder for the "fastest hole of golf" after completing a 500-yard par-five hole in 1 minute and 50.6 seconds. <br /><br />The Tiverton based physical education teacher set the record at his local Golf Club in Devon last August but it has only just been recently ratified by Guinness World Records.<br /><br />He achieved the record on his third attempt. The previous record was set by fellow Brit Phil Taylor back in 2005 with a time of 1minute and 52 seconds.
