<p>Israeli Arab lawmakers who were protesting the presence in the Knesset of US Vice President Mike Pence were removed as Pence began his speech to the parliament on January 22.</p><p>Video here shows security staff rushing towards members holding up placards against Pence.</p><p>Beforehand, members of the Arab-majority party Joint List had said they would boycott Pence’s official address.</p><p>During his speech, Pence said that the US “stood with Israel,” and also called for the Palestinian leadership to “return to the table” for peace talks.
