<br /> The Falcon Heavy rocket has been delayed by the government shutdown.<br />The massive rocket from SpaceX was scheduled for launch on Jan. 22nd from Kennedy Space Center, however, they require the assistance of the Air Force’s 45th Space Wing.<br />Due to the shutdown, key members of the civilian workforce were prevented from providing support during the launch, so it was postponed.<br />The launch is intended to demonstrate the rocket's 27 engines in a simultaneous test.<br />The Falcon Heavy will be the largest rocket serviced by SpaceX.<br />It is essentially three Falcon 9 rockets attached to a single upper stage. <br />
