US senators have struck a deal to temporarily fund the federal government into Feburary.<br />After a three-day shutdown, the Senate has moved beyond an impasse over immigration and border security.<br />Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer stated Democrats would support legislation to reopen the government by the end of the day.<br />After he spoke, the Senate voted 81-to-18 in a procedural vote to forego any filibuster on the pending continuing resolution. <br />
