<p>The UK has experienced a cold start to 2018, but that did not not deter one swimmer from taking the plunge into a frozen Loch Glascarnoch in Scotland on January 20.</p><p>Norman Todd, a notable</a> Highland swimmer from Ullapool, was filmed by Steven Gourlay wading into the frozen loch wearing only shorts, goggles and a swimming cap.</p><p>According to Gourlay, the thermometer in his car was reading -7.5 degrees Celsius.
