The Philippines' most active volcano has exploded for the second time today, spewing more molten lava and steam into the air and forcing more than 56,000 residents to flee. <br /><br />The footage, captured from a village nearby, shows a huge ash plume shooting up to the sky moments after the explosion.<br /><br />Authorities on Monday raised the alert level to four on a scale of five- meaning a hazardous eruption is possible within hours or days.<br /><br />Mount Mayon has erupted about 50 times in the last 500 years, reports say.
