VTR: Does jealousy stem from love?<br /><br />ADNAN OKTAR: I do not know what would happen if you were to get jealous, young man. Does jealousy stem from love? One does not become jealous of their loved one but protects them, only protects them. Why would one become jealous of their loved one? Jealousy is a primitive, crude disposition. There is nothing sacred about it. Jealousy is the name of a foul act, a foul moral display. One only feels protective of their loved ones. For example, one protects his wife, his girlfriend, his beloved from any harm; he does not let others speak ill of her, is mindful of her diet, health, honor and chastity. Jealousy has no logic to it. Because here is what jealousy actually implies; by becoming jealous, the man basically telling the women, "You are capable of anything. I would expect anything from you. You are going out but I will keep track of you, so keep your phone open." "Why?" asks the woman, and he replies, "You might get up to something with another man." He is practically insulting the woman, accusing her of being "dishonorable". This is not jealousy; this is downright an insult and indication of a lack of trust.
