Meryl Streep is coming to HBO.<br /><br />That’s right, the iconic star has just been cast in Big Little Lies 2, playing the mother of Alexander Skarsgard’s character.<br /><br />She shows up in town looking for answers to what happened to her son… and if you’ve seen the series before, you know this could get interesting.<br /><br />Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman are already on board… and it’s also being claimed Laura Dern and Shailene Woodley will be returning as well.<br /><br />Streep is no stranger to fans of HBO, having starred in 2003’s Angels in America.<br /><br />And who knows, maybe she get another acting award for this new turn.<br /><br />She’s already the most nominated actress in history, currently waiting to see if she’ll collect her 4th statue this year for her work in The Post.<br /><br />Still no word on when she reports for duty in Big Little Lies, but consider us ready for the premiere episode.<br />
