Korea's up-and-coming tennis star Chung Hyeon faces the biggest moment of his life today: an Australian Open semi-final against the man widely considered to be the greatest player in history, Roger Federer.<br />Park Se-young has more. <br /> His white-rimmed glasses catch the crowd's attention.<br />Korea's up-and-coming tennis star Chung Hyeon will face World number two Roger Federer in the Australian Open semi-finals on Friday.<br />Federer has a staggering 19 Grand Slam titles under his belt, ...including five Australian Open titles;<br />Chung is ranked 58th in the world.<br />The match comes as Korea is in the grips of the "Chung Hyeon fever" with the nation seeing a huge jump in sales of tennis goods.<br />The semi-final begins at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Korea time, with the winner facing Croatian Marin Cilic (chee-leech) in Sunday's final.<br /><br /> Chung is the youngest Grand Slam semi-finalist in eight years, …and the lowest-ranked Australian Open semi-finalist in 14 years.<br />The 21-year-old Korean has earned nearly 711-thousand U.S. dollars in prize money for reaching the semi-finals, …on top of some 40-thousand dollars for reaching the quarter finals.
