Farrah Abraham’s Mom Says Family Snubbed Her Amid Cancer Diagnosis: ‘It Was Hurtful’

Farrah Abraham’s mom underwent life-saving surgery after being diagnosed with colon cancer – and she went through the medical crisis alone. In Debra Danielsen’s tell-all book exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com, she claimed her family abandoned her during the difficult time.<br /><br />Two weeks before her father passed away from colon cancer, she was diagnosed with the same disease.<br /><br />“A few days after we buried my father, I went in for a life-saving operation,” she wrote in her upcoming book Vapor: A True Story of How I Fell Victim To Catfishing. “The surgeon removed 13.5 feet of intestine to ensure that the 4-centimeter polyp was going to cause no further problems.”<br /><br />grueling recovery was her then-boyfriend.<br /><br />“None of my family members came to the hospital to be with me,” she wrote. “It was very scary, lonely and hurtful.”<br /><br />She explained how three days after the surgery, it was “very difficult” to stand and walk.<br /><br />“I had gone from being very athletic to not walking at all as a result of this colon surgery,” she explained.<br /><br />she learned there was no cancer.<br /><br />Danielsen exclusively clarified to Radar that although she was diagnosed with cancer, she “never had cancer.”<br /><br />PHOTOS: Drunken Hookups, Athlete Lovers & Public Sex: Farrah Abraham’s XXX Secrets Exposed</a><br /><br />“There was a 99% chance it would turn into cancer,” she explained.<br /><br />The medical crisis changed Danielsen’s life for the better, as she began eating healthier.
