<br /> <p>A freshman at Evanston Township High School in Illinois clinched a victory for his basketball team on Friday, January 26, when he sank an unbelievable buzzer beater from the opposite end of the court.</p><p>Evanston freshman Blake Peters grabbed a rebound from a missed free throw, and with less than three seconds left, threw the ball almost the entire length of the court, giving his team and 45-44 win over Maine South.</a></p><p>Speaking to local media,</a> Peters said it was the best moment of his life. “I thought it might go in, but when it actually did, it was pretty cool. I remember blinking, I was on such an emotional high.
