Carrie Fisher won a Grammy award for best spoken word album for the audio version of The Princess Diarist…<br /><br />And we couldn’t be happier.<br /><br />The late icon, who passed unexpectedly in December of 2016, wrote the memoir based on the diaries she kept as a young woman and the time she starred in the first Star Wars film,<br /><br />Her daughter Billie Lourd took to Instagram to say how proud she was.<br /><br />Billie wrote that she wishes her mom was there to carry her down the red carpet but instead she was celebrating in true Carrie style: in bed in front of the TV over cold Coca Colas and warm e-cigs. <br /><br />She added that she was beyond proud.<br /><br />Fisher beat other stars in the category including Bruce Springsteen, Neil Degrasse Tyson, Bernie Sanders, and Mark Ruffalo.<br /><br />It was the first Grammy win.<br />
