VTR: Good evening, I am from İzmir. I would like to ask the author a question. How can one overcome the sense of envy?<br /><br />ADNAN OKTAR: Look at how sweet and pretty she is. How can one overcome the sense of envy? Everything is a reflection of God's image. Both the one who is envied and the one who envies are reflections of God's image. Both are a part of God's soul. Both the one who is envied and the one who envies are the parts of God's soul. People will see the manifestations of God's soul in heaven as well. But there are no emotions like envy in heaven; in this world, it is acquired through education. The sense of envy is acquired through novels, through the education given by one's parents, siblings or in schools. It is elicited from books, movies, and after a ceaseless indoctrination, young girls and boys internalize the sense of envy. Envy is a sense that is absent at birth, albeit acquired later in life. The same can also said about fear; it is not inherent. It is acquired through education, through movies, tales and discourse of the parents. For example, the mother threatens her child with poking a needle to the hand, or scares them with "the bogeyman". And children learn the sense of fear as a result. Therefore, both envy and fear are negative emotions that are learned later in life. And education is both the instigator and eliminator of these emotions.
