The Tabuk region in the north west of Saudi Arabia was among the areas to be blanketed by a white sheet as temperatures plunged in the Middle East.<br /><br />According to reports by local media, residents and visitors from outside the region came to experience the rare event. Several photos and videos were shared on social media sites.
