High Tide Threatens to Flood Coastal Buildings in Maine

<p>An offshore storm and unusually high tides pushed water up over Maine’s Ogunquit Beach and threatened to cause flooding in and around coastal buildings on January 30.</p><p>This video was shot by Ogunquit resident Rick Barber and shows seawater washing around the Norseman Resort hotel at the edge of the beach.</p><p>Water levels were expected to reach 12 feet, a half foot above the flood level, according to local reports</a>.
