It may be hard to remember, but Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey were once a married couple.<br /><br />The pair called in quits back in 2016 and so much has happened to the both of them since that time. <br /><br />But the 37 year old Cannon told People magazine in an interview that he and his ex wife have unconditional love for each other and they respect each other.<br /><br />He says he and Mariah have a positive relationship that allows them to parent their twins together with a united front. Cannon added that both he and Mariah are selfless individuals and their kids always come first.<br /><br />Mariah was briefly engaged to billionaire James Packer, but that fizzled out and she moved on to start a relationship with her backup dancer.<br /><br />Nick on the other hand has an 11-month-old named Golden, whom he shares with Brittany Bell.<br /><br />But hey, it’s nice when a famous couple can split up and not go through all that drama.<br />
