A burn injury on his right hand due to kitchen mishaps did not stop Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar from attending the state's annual Thaipusam celebrations yesterday.<br /><br />Although his injured right hand prevented him from shaking hands with the people, the ruler still received warm greetings and cries of "Daulat Tuanku".<br /><br />According to a statement, the ruler who has a penchant for cooking had sustained burns to his right hand on Sunday while preparing food for his children.
