The Yasuni ITT initiative is one of the most audacious attempts to confront climate change anywhere this century in which Ecuador led the world. The proposal was to lead Ecuador’s largest<br />oil reserves in the ground beneath the mega diverse Yasuni National Park in the Amazon region, in exchange for international compensation.
