David Harbour was told to "step away" from the 'Hellboy' reboot.<br />Harbour was cast as the titular role in the upcoming reboot of the popular comic book.<br />He replaced Ron Perlman, who starred in the Guillermo del Toro movies.<br />Harbour revealed some "prominent nerds" try to persuade him not to take the role.<br />Harbour told the Hollywood Reporter he was approached by some very prominent nerds, friends of his.<br />"I respect their opinions ... who were like 'dude, step away from the 'Hellboy'.
