A minivan driver carrying gas canisters has plowed into pedestrians, injuring 18 people in Shanghai.<br /><br />In the video, captured today (February 2), smoke can be seen coming out of the minivan that came to a halt in front of a Starbucks coffee shop.<br /><br />Firefighters try to extinguish the flames and tend to the injured.<br /><br />Eighteen people were injured and sent to hospital, three with serious injuries.<br /><br />Local reports say that the driver, known as Chen, was smoking in the van and that this ignited the gas canisters.
