New Year and new month for some yummy recipes and opportunity to stay under budget! This is my monthly grocery trip so spent the bulk of my budget up front. I spent $66 at Target and $441 at HEB.Thats $507 out of our $1000 monthly budget. We splurged on some items since we have been under budget the past few months. Lets hope I dont go over this month!!\r<br>\r<br>Recipes this week include:\r<br>\r<br>\r<br>Crustless Quiche Lorraine-8 turkey bacon slices (cooked & chopped), 1 cup shredded swiss cheese, 1 medium onion (diced), 2 tbsp flour, 4 eggs, 1 cup milk, salt & pepper to taste, 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9 pie plate. Toss the bacon, cheese, onion, and flour together and spread in the bottom of the pie plate. In a bowl, beat eggs together first, then beat in milk and add seasonings. Pour egg mixture over bacon mixture. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
