The string of avian influenza cases keep on coming-- <br />Another case of highly pathogenic bird flu has been confirmed in Chungcheongnam-do Province,... the first from the region this winter. <br /> The agriculture ministry says a chicken farm in Dangjin , with some 24-thousand chickens was confirmed with the H5N6 strain.<br />It becomes the 17th confirmed case of AI this winter since the first outbreak in mid November. <br />Authorities have placed strict traffic controls around a ten kilometer radius of the farm and disinfected nearby areas to stop it spreading.<br />Officials are being especially cautious with the start of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics just days away. <br />
