A stray dog has adopted an orphaned piglet and raised him along with her pups. <br /><br />For the last two weeks, she has been nursing the piglet, who can be seen huddling with other pups and squabbling for her milk. <br /><br />The dog has made her home an abandoned drain in Raichur, South India. <br /><br />The heart-warming gesture of the dog has been drawing many visitors, who wait to see her feeding the pups and the piglet. <br /><br />A local resident Chenna Basava said a sow had given birth to a litter of piglets in the same area at about the same time the dog had delivered her pups. <br /><br />“The piglet got separated accidentally from its herd and was rescued by the dog,” he added.
