When sitting down with the Oprah Magazine, Reese Witherspoon revealed that she was once in an abusive relationship.<br /><br />The issue is coming out in March and she reportedly admitted to leaving a past relationship over the psychological and verbal abuse she endured.<br /><br />And yes, it had a profound affect on her.<br /><br />At the time she mentioned that a line got drawn in the sand and her brain just switched and she knew it was going to be very difficult but she just couldn’t go any further.<br /><br />This coming after Reese admitted she was assaulted by a director when she was only 16 years old.<br /><br />Witherspoon found herself confronting her past trauma in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal rocked Hollywood.<br /><br />She also went on to say that a lot of the women with stories about Harvey are dear friends of hers, like Salma Hayek and Gwyneth Paltrow.<br /><br />When she learned the depths of the assaults, Reese said she was floored and goes on to call this moment where healing begins.<br />
