Hi guys! Today were doing this Joker / Mr. J inspired doll reaint :D This has been the most requested project since I uploaded my Harley Quinn barbie repaint video ( This is inspired by the recent Suicide Squad , where both The Joker and Harley have had a makeover.\r<br> Finding a good doll for this project was a challenge, since all the male dolls in my local toy stores have sculpted hair, which wouldnt work. Therefore I ended up using a doll that I bought used, a Divergent doll, even though his skin tone was too tan. If you can find a paler doll to use as your base, that would make the process easier.\r<br>As usual I used water color pencils and chalk pastels for the repaint and sealed it with the mr. super clear spray.\r<br>\r<br>\r<br>Good to know:\r<br>I mostly work in 1:12 scale, but you can make them in any size you want and add headpins to make them charms :) I used a mix of the polymer clay brands Fimo and Cernit, but you can use any brand you like. The liquid clay I use is from the brand Fimo.
