SPARTANBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA — A woman says her new hair dryer turned into a blowtorch after it shot out flames when she turned it on. <br /><br />Erika Shoolbred posted video of the mini flamethrower to Facebook on Monday, mentioning she bought the hair dryer over Amazon. <br /><br />She wrote, "talk about a bad hair day! My new hair dryer (more like hair frier) from OraCorp on Amazon.com became a blow torch on its first use this morning." <br /><br />When she attempted to turn it off, the flame just got bigger.<br />The too hot to handle dryer burned her hand when she went to pull the cord out, which gave her a nice little shock as a bonus. <br /><br />And it made the bathroom smell Amazon amazing. <br />Erika has gotten a refund from Amazon, which has since pulled the OraCorp hair dryer off its website.
