<p>Australian police intercepted a AUD$10 million shipment of drug gamma-butyrolactone (GBL), also known as “liquid ecstasy”, and arrested a 30-year-old man in Sydney on Friday, February 9.</p><p>The joint Australian Federal Police and Australian Border Force operation led to the identification of a “high-risk” shipping container arriving at Sydney earlier in the month, leading to the arrest in Lewisham, the AFP said</a>. The man was charged with one count of importing of a commercial quantity of a border controlled substance.</p><p>According to The Daily Telegraph</a> the drums inside the shipping container were disguised as car wash shampoo.</p><p>The AFP said</a> it was one of the largest seizures of the drug in Australian history.
