The 69th Sapporo Snow Festival got underway in Japan this week with impressive snow sculptures rising from the ground at three venues around Hokkaido’s capital.<br /><br />This clip shows sculptors putting the finishing touches to their creations which included manga heroes and famous temples. <br /><br />More than 2 million people were expected to attend the weeklong event.<br /><br />++MUSIC IS ROYALTY-FREE++
