The Trump administration is reportedly moving towards privatizing the International Space Station after ending its funding to the space lab from 2025.<br /> A NASA document obtained by the Washington Post, reads "it is possible that industry could continue to operate certain elements or capabilities of the ISS as part of a future commercial platform."<br />The document goes on to say that the space agency will focus on expanding its commercial partnerships over the next seven years to prepare for an eventual handover. <br />The White House budget request will be released on Monday, which is expected to include a 150 -million dollar proposal to help with the transition to the private sector. <br />But some lawmakers and experts warn that such a move could disrupt international agreements as well as U.S. scientific research. <br />
