BEIT SHEAN, ISRAEL — An Iranian drone was shot down on Saturday morning in northern Israel by the Israeli military.<br /><br />According to the Times of Israel, the drone was destroyed by an Israeli Apache helicopter that engaged it after it flew inside Israeli airspace.<br /><br />The aircraft is said to be a Iranian Saeqeh, drone, also known as Thunderbolt. This model is based on the American RQ-170 Sentinel spy drone, according to the Times of Israel. Both models bare resemblance to the B-2 stealth bomber .
