Chinese New Year celebrations kicked off in Perth, Scotland, on February 10 to mark the year of the dog. <br /><br />Onlookers enjoyed displays by Yee's Hung Ga International Kung Fu Association from Edinburgh, which provided drummers, costumed characters, dancing lions, a dragon dance and fireworks at the end of the celebration. <br /><br />Provost Dennis Melloy from the Perth City Council marked the dragon at the start of the celebrations.
