Candidate registration for the June 13th local elections begins today,... exactly 120 days before Koreans head to the polls to select their representatives. <br /> It means those wanting to run for governor or superintendent of education are able to sign up.<br />Registrations are also open for six parliamentary seats that have been left vacant for various reasons.<br />They include two left empty.... after a couple of opposition party lawmakers were recently stripped of their seats due to irregularities. <br />Once registrations are complete, the National Election Commission will post the candidates' detailed information on its website. <br />
