Although Russia is not officially participating at the 2018 Winter Olympics, 169 athletes from Russia are in competition.<br />Known as Olympic Athletes from Russia, these competitors can be spotted with the acronym OAR somewhere on their uniform.<br />Back in December the International Olympic Committee punished Russia for a state-sponsored doping program by disqualifying them from Olympic competition in Pyeongchang.<br />But the IOC allowed Russian athletes to compete if they passed a screening process. <br />
