Workers removed a truck on Monday, February 12, that had fallen through the ice on New Hampshire’s Lake Winnipesaukee over the weekend. ‎Timothy Lacey‎, who took this video, said the truck fell through the ice on Friday and there were no injuries.

Workers used air bags to lift the truck from the bottom of the lake, he said. The area around the docks is a popular location for people to drive onto the lake, he said, but ice conditions had changed rapidly to make it unsafe to drive on.

Officials have warned people about the ice conditions with warming weather, a news report said. Six inches of ice are needed to support a person, and 8-10 inches of ice can support an all-terrain vehicle, the report said. Credit: ‎Timothy Lacey‎ via Storyful
